Counseling is a healing and empowering journey that requires vulnerability and courage. As a counselor, Andria strives to support each client in this unknown and unfamiliar territory by walking with the client on their path, creating a safe environment for healing and growth to take place. Andria approaches counseling holistically, taking relationships, social and cultural issues, and physical needs into consideration in order to help the client flourish in life. Andria believes that music often has a place in the therapy room. It can be a transformative way to engage emotions, connect with others, and tell our story. Andria’s experience as a musician has shown her that each of us has a song to sing. We all have a story that shapes us and makes us who we are. In counseling, it is in the process of sharing that healing and growth may occur.

Andria is a licensed professional counselor and limited licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master of Arts from Western Michigan University in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. Andria also holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Ministry from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary inEvanston, IL and a Bachelor of Music degree from North Central College in Naperville, IL.
